## Recap
![[068_20220925 Tentacle Lira#^summary]]
## Strong start
Long rest, then at some point they probably return to The Blackweald.
*Note:* Taj excuses herself. She wants to stay behind-- someone needs to remember in case the party fails, but she gives them a drawing of Lira.
> You find your way back to the place you've only seen at night, and you could swear that the dark gray cobblestoned area of The Blackweald had not extended past the bridge, but now it does. You see more people on the streets, most of them with an unnaturally even gait.
## Scenes
- [ ] Going into the Blackweald. If they follow a mimic in, they'll be led to the mouth.
> You notice that the walls, already grimy, begin to be coated with a pink-coloured substance that seems to grow more and more congealed the further you go. Just when the substance has become a bit more viscuous, and strands of it begin to connect, you hear a squelching sound, but you don't see anything.
- [ ] Only Blackweald mimics (and followers of [[Uk'otoa]]) can cause the mouth to open.
- [ ] [[Debbie Dabbler]] takes her son [[Tuck Dabbler]] into the mouth. He goes willingly.
- [ ] Exploring [[The Blackweald]].
- [ ] Being attacked by [[Lira]] and [[Dajarkal]].
## Secrets and Clues
- [ ] [[The Empty Ones]] lead normal people into [[The Blackweald]].
- [ ] The Blackweald is a perpetually hungry creature. It's been growing for a long time, and has managed to attach itself to the underbelly of [[Xari]].
- [ ] The Blackweald is not intelligent; it lives only to feed.
- [ ] The Blackweald is itself a large mimic; it has grown to mimic an entire part of the city.
- [ ] Once people enter into The Blackweald, they can't get out.
- [ ] Victims are encased in cocoons from which mimics are grown from their bodies.
- [ ] Once a mimic emerges from the cocoon, the originals are either digested (by being shoved into [[The Blackweald#Pits of Bile]]), bitten by the darakhul, or charmed, if [[Captain Three Earrings]] finds them useful.
- [ ] A Blood Wedding is set to take place soon. It is a union between gods, with two of their servants standing as proxy.
- [ ] The two who would be wed are [[Eryn]] and [[Captain Three Earrings]].
- [ ] Eryn was raised as a paladin of [[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Torog]]. She was supposed to assassinate [[Eluun]] but fell in love with him instead.
- [ ] The undead that walk this place are called Darakhul. They are perpetually hungry.
## [[Loot]]
- [ ] Dust of Disappearance
- [ ] Potion of Greater Healing
- [ ] Eversmoking bottle
