# Clapperclaw Clapperclaw used to be a tiefling child, but [[Skabatha Nightshade]] put its soul into that of a scarecrow so it could "face his fear" of birds. He ran away from Thither, but got waylaid by [[Agdon Longscarf]] and got his head, a stag skull, stolen. Clapperclaw used a gourd (and was super self-conscious about it), until [[Boris]] gave him [[Agdon Longscarf]]'s severed head instead. ## Personality Despite the loss of its original head, this child-sized scarecrow retains an upbeat demeanor characterized by its affinity for gallows humor.
