# [[The Arms of the Betrayers]]
The Arms of the Betrayers are eight sentient weapons forged by eight of the [[Betrayer Gods]] and then hidden across [[Wildemount]] before [[the Divergence]].
Each weapon contains a fiend that longs for battle, granting its wielder more powers the longer the weapon remains attuned.
## Destroying one of the Arms
To destroy an Arm of the Betrayer, one of the following must be done:
- The weapon is destroyed if devoured by [[Uk'otoa]].
- Thrusting the weapon into a [[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Luxon Beacon]] destroys the weapon and the beacon alike.
- The weapon can be broken only by a blow from another of the Arms of the Betrayers.

1. Free their masters, if at all possible.
2. Wreak chaos in a way that their masters would approve of (dependent on the betrayer god they belong to).
3. Exacerbate the war between Xhorhas and the Dwendalian Empire.
