# [[The Arms of the Betrayers]] The Arms of the Betrayers are eight sentient weapons forged by eight of the [[Betrayer Gods]] and then hidden across [[Wildemount]] before [[the Divergence]]. Each weapon contains a fiend that longs for battle, granting its wielder more powers the longer the weapon remains attuned. ## Destroying one of the Arms To destroy an Arm of the Betrayer, one of the following must be done: - The weapon is destroyed if devoured by [[Uk'otoa]]. - Thrusting the weapon into a [[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Luxon Beacon]] destroys the weapon and the beacon alike. - The weapon can be broken only by a blow from another of the Arms of the Betrayers. ## Extra Properties Once attuned, ask player to roll for the properties as shown in the table below. | State | Beneficial | Detrimental | | -------- | ---------- | ----------- | | Dormant | +1 minor | +1 minor | | Awakened | +1 minor | +1 minor | | Exalted | +1 major | N/A | [[Minor Beneficial Properties]] [[Major Beneficial Properties]] [[Minor Deterimental Properties]] [[Major Detrimental Properties]] ## The Arms ### [[Blade of Broken Mirrors]] ([[Tharizdun]]) ### [[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Grovelthrash|Grovelthrash]] ([[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Torog|Torog]]) ### [[Lash of Shadows]] ([[Zehir]]) ✅ ### [[Mace of the Black Crown]] ([[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Asmodeus|Asmodeus]]) ### [[Ruin's Wake]] ([[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Gruumsh|Gruumsh]]) ### [[Silken Spite]] ([[ttrpgs/Temporary White Circle/Lolth]]) ### [[The Bloody End]] ([[Bane]]) ### [[Will of the Talon]] ([[ttrpgs/The Slayers Five/Tiamat|Tiamat]]) ✅ ## Goals 1.
