## Description
The village is a treetop village, with makeshift pulleys and ropes strung from treetop to treetop to create some sort of path.
It's about two hours away from the beach.

## Things happening in Vo right now
- [ ] [[Vari]] has noticed that the dryads have begun to change, now that the [[Dragonleaf Tree]] has been killed. They're becoming more friendly and now have a working relationship with the Vodians and the Keep-dwellers.
## The villagers
All the villagers are wearing clothes that look like they were not created in the jungle - they don't look like natives. They are regular people from surrounding cities who have been shipwrecked by the dragon turtle.
For many years, they were affected by [[Mother Krangor]]'s mist of forgetfulness (using a concentrated version of _Encode Thoughts_ to siphon away people's thoughts) and did not remember much about where they came from. They worshipped the fire god Vokodo and believed that Rumblecusp is the center of Exandria, as the birthplace of all life and time. Their catchphrase: "Bright burn his fire."
Their memories returned to them soon after [[Mother Krangor]] was killed by the party.
### Viridian
Viridian is actually [[Jannika Jäger]]. She is using the form of a younger human woman and will not recognize [[Ora]] until the curse is lifted.
### Former pirate captain
### [[Flint]]
Male dwarf werebear. He is incredibly friendly and gregarious, but the REAL him is a super grumpy and taciturn pirate named Bear. His bear-form is huge and a stark comparison to his much shorter dwarven form. He seems less susceptible to the mist than others and is the most helpful to players.
### Honeythorn
Honeythorn is a strikingly beautiful elven female. She is the epitome of a hippie. Her real name is [[Vilya]], and living on Rumblecusp didn't really change her personality too much except that she is Flint's wife and has a son, Little Finger, with him.
### [[Little Finger]]
Halfling boy of 8 years old. He was born on Vo, but doesn't really know who his parents are.
## After awakening
- 3 Xhorhasians: 1 Echo Knight, 1 Chronurgy Wizard, 1 Graviturgy Wizard; vs. 12 Dwendalian soldiers
- Momentary Stasis: Chronurgy wizard encases 1 of the pursuers in a shimmering gray bubble that contains her for the moment.
- Gravity Sinkhole: Graviturgy wizard finishes drawing a circle on the ground and makes one of the soldiers get crushed and "fall" to a point above the treeline. "We have 6 seconds!"
- echo and knight fighting in a defensive position
- 8 of the soldiers swear and turn back.
- Grouchy older man digging up a jewelry box that belonged to his wife, who disappeared when she maintained her wits longer than anyone else and didn't want to give up everything.
- Two men are having a heated discussion. They were partners but have realized they are both straight.
- Kids in a huddle, unsure who their parents are. Some are claimed reluctantly, some warmly. Some are not claimed.
- Flint is being kicked out by Vilya. Little Finger is sitting on a stoop with his head in his hands, and Flint joins him.
- Orly is tattooing another guy with "I lost my memory in Rumblecusp 836", happy as ever.
- two female best friends realize they hate each other. "I hate that abomination you embroidered for me. - Well, your pitiful excuse for displacerloaf made me sick!"
### Hektor
Hektor will hit Boris, then reveal that he was bringing the [[Will of the Talon]] himself to [[Dragen]] in [[Darktow]]. He was thinking of joining Dragen in Darktow, because it's been so hard to get shipped items. The [[Clovis Concord]] is intercepting everything and taxing what they don't take.
### Flint
Flint wants nothing more than to adventure, but he's also not going to shy away from his parental obligations to Little Finger, even if he hadn't meant to have a son. He will accept Vilya's departure gamely and understand her decision to leave, but he actually did love her and will be devastated.
### Vilya
It's going to be a bit awkward when the curse is lifted, because Vilya's definitely not going to want to stay with Flint.
She will return to Uthodurn, where she had been betrothed to the son of a wealthy merchant.
