> We helped out a bit in the Dawnflower Library, but it seemed like the acolytes had everything under control, especially because most of the bodies that fell onto the library did not rise, so it was just a matter of evacuating the area. So we went up the steps to the Otari Graveyard, where we came face-to-face with foes that nearly cost us our lives: a flameskull, skeletons, a fleshy skeleton/zombie, and an armored skeleton that just wouldn't die!

## Log
[[Dawnflower Library]]'s ceiling is made of glass, allowing [[Sarenraei]]'s light to pour in. Unfortunately, this also meant that when the zombies fell off the cliffs, they fell right through the glass.
Most people are running away from the falling corpses. But some acolytes have stayed to try and help those that have been hurt. [[Vandy Banderdash]] is nowhere to be seen.
Some of the corpses are writhing. They seem intent on going towards the living
We head up to the [[Otari Graveyard]]. We see marks on the ground where the bodies rose, four town guards who are just gaping at the scene. The graveyard is bathed in a bright blue light from [[The Gauntlight]]. The guards have started to make a barrier at the graveyard.

There are dozens of shambling corpses and bodies. They rush to the south and without hesitation, walk off the cliff.
We see a small thing floating in the air like a torch. We see a skeleton complete with a shield and armor rise. There are two humanoid skeletons that have just risen. There's another fat fleshy thing.

- The torch thing is a flameskull: they can spit a line of fire or head butt

- Tries to Demoralize, but it's immune to that. It's mindless.

- He attacks Ash twice. Hits for 11 fire I react with Life Block to reduce damage by 10 but take 5 HP damage. We take a total of 6. He attacks again but misses.

- Karsh bites the other skeleton.
- Skeleton claws Bond. 16 damage
- Armored skeleton
- Hits Ash. :( 1d4 persistent damage on Ash, things are concealed from Ash until the persistent damage is healed. DC5 flat check to miss.
- Me
- Z1: Boost, lasts 4 rounds
- Z2: Daze armored guy, 3 mental damage.
- A1: Kick big guy
- Ash has blood in his eyes. He has to roll a DC 5 flat check before doing anything to anyone.
- Karsh
- Heals us for 20 HP! We're back to full again.
- Moves and triggers an opportunity attack from the armored skeleton.

- Tells us about the flaming skull
- Attacks the skull. 9 damage. it's bloodied - it's taken 15 damage total.
- Flaming skull attacks Ash, then Zuhri. We take some more damage. :(

- Moves to Skram and attacks him.

- Recalls knowledge on armored guy and realises he must have been a champion in life. He can block with his shield and attack anything that comes too close.

- Attacks Zuhri and deals 12 damage, but Ash deals 10 sonic damage to him. Zuhri goes down. :(

- Gets me up with an elixir of life
- Flameskull takes me out again. :(

- Attacks the armored skeleton and tries to move towards Zuhri. The Armored skeleton knocks Bond unconscious.

- Grabs his sword from Bond.
- Me: Used my hero points to stabilize
- Karsh
- Raises his shield
- Attacks the fleshy skeleton
- Round 5
- Skram: gets me up, barely
- Bond: uses hero point to stabilize
- Armored skeleton
- Flanks Karsh and attacks him.
- Me: Get up, run away, hide
- Round 6
- Skram
- Reloads
- Shoots the flaming skull! It explodes into pieces.
- Skeleton goes towards Skram but critically fails to attack him.

- Tries to disarm Karsh but fails. He seems to approve of Karsh and wants him to join the undead.
- Attacks Karsh
- Demoralizes Skram. Skram is *frightened* 1.

- Friendfetch on Bond and Karsh
- Run away!

- Battle medicine on Bond. 13 HP!

- Attacks Karsh and he drops his shield. :( 34 damage

- kicks the skeleton but doesn't kill it

- Put shielding salve on myself, grabbed Karsh, started to leave

- I jumped off the path, being chased by the armored skeleton, and threw Karsh onto the ground below.

- Zombie: Resistant 5 to cold, piercing, slashing, electricity, fire
- Bond grabs his gun
- I fall to Karsh's side, on the roof of the Dawnflower Library, but fail to treat his wounds.
- Round 10
- Skram finally kills that skeleton.
