We chased them, but they ran to the southern end of the library, where it turned out there were more ghouls and cultists waiting, as well as a vine-like network of lights that healed the ghouls while doing damage to us. It seemed like the network was right underneath the lighthouse. > > We killed a few of them, but Karsh and Skram both got *Ghoul Fever* and Karsh was paralyzed at one point.
