They spent time healing, selling loot, and visiting various locations around town including Crook's Nook, the fishery, Stone Ring Pond, and the market. The party leveled up and had a long rest, during which Ash recovered from Ghoul Fever. They learned that Galiath Banderdash had been disguised as "Gunther" and was actually helping them, and discovered new contacts like Morlibinth and Karlth at Odd Stories bookstore. ^summary --- ## Recap ![[033_20230114 Clean flybaby clean#^summary]] --- ## Log - You can retrain one skill or one feat upon levelling. - casters have their own rules on how to retrain spells upon levelling 20 gp of gibbering mouther parts. - *aberration, acrobatics, athletics, perception, swimming, piercing, acid* - It was a Level 5 creature! We go back to [[Otari]]. - [[Crook's Nook]] - [[Yin Yasmera]] is not here, but the dead body is known to them. They think she wouldn't care about him so Karsh buries him in [[Otari Graveyard]]. - [[Otari Fishery]] - [[Skram's Ratfolk Family]] asked Tamily about purchasing some fish (1/4). She's not too happy that they keep going back and forth. - [[Ruskramigin]] woke up once. He said he's been running around and jumping from roof to roof, looking at the moonlight. The townsfolk didn't know he was a werewolf and refused to believe the druids didn't know either. He called people. He said his name was Gunther but he's totally Galiath! He's always in trouble. He had a spell cast on him by law enforcement - he asked Vandy to dispel it. She did, but asked him to help us. She only sees him once in a while. - Arcane wizard: [[Morlibinth]]. He and his partner [[Karlth]] are the proprietors of [[Odd Stories]]. Now they have a bookstore filled with arcane and occult books. He also casts Detect Magic for a price. If we buy or sell anything there, we might be able to ask him to do it for free. - He may also accept books as payment. - [[Karlth]] provides educational materials for [[Inkleholtz Manor]]. - Vandy can resurrect someone, but only one person.
