Vayle continued therapy with Lazda, who recalled being Otari's gravedigger near the Dawnflower Library before his attack, but regressed without progress. Zuhri upgraded her Bone Knuckles, found Wrin Sivinxi's shop locked and empty of thoughts after a violent night of barking and casting, and used Lore Academia at the Dawnflower Library to research how to anchor Ash — soul gems are a viable centuries-long option, though Ash would be trapped inside. > > Tartuccio and Vorn, both loitering at the library, pointed Zuhri toward Pharasma's clergy for soul lore — Pharasma judges souls bound for the boneyard — and revealed that Aiden Court has gone to Absalom to bring back an honor guard for military backup. The only workshop in town is owned by the goblins. Grumble bribes the goblins to let Bond use the workshop. Bond learns how to take apart this machinery that might help him with other locks that Voluk makes. Bond learns: - that the eye can project the soul gem's memories into a nearby person's mind, so someone can see what it saw while it was moving - this is similar to how data crystals work - how the soul was forced into the gem, which means he may be able to reverse the process [[Vayle]] goes to do therapy with [[Lazda Venkervale|Lazda]]. - He's asking what he was being used for. - He feels the shape of something larger on him. - Before his attack, Lazda was the town's gravedigger. There are no thoughts inside. - Dawnflower Library: I finally get to use Lore Academia. - One option: Put him in a soul gem - Ash is a soul that is stabilized by his protection to me. It's a connection of love and protection. It also matters that Ash was a monk, so he is disciplined of body and mind. It's been helping him stabilize. - [[Rebirth potion|Rebirth Potions]] don't work because he can't take it. But a soul gem would work and would last for centuries. But that means Ash would be trapped inside and we don't know what the conditions are inside. Our psychic connection would be one advantage that other soul gems don't have.
