## Description
Black Frost is a Level 10 uncommon curse that is not just a curse, but also a disease. It is transmitted by [[Black Frost Zombie]]s and can be fatal if not treated properly.
## Characteristics

- **Rarity**: Uncommon
- **Type**: Both curse and disease
- **Transmission**: Spread by Black Frost Zombies
- **Fatality**: Any creature that dies to it will rise as a Black Frost Zombie after one day
## Treatment
To treat Black Frost, you need:
1. Something that removes the curse first
2. Something that cures the disease next
## Disease Progression
### Stage 1 (First 10 minutes)
- Initial onset of symptoms
- Most dangerous period
### Stage 2 (Next day)
- Makes you weak to cold
- Causes fatigue and tiredness
### Stage 3 (Following day)
- You are drained
- Severe debilitation
## Session History
First encountered in [[087_20250622 Black Frost Zombie's Revenge]] when [[Vayle]] and [[Grumblebum|Grumble]] contracted the curse from reanimated [[mimic]]s. Both were cured by [[Vandy Banderdash]] in [[Otari]].
