# [[Carman Rajani]] Carman Rajani is a very surly, snarling blacksmith hard at work making weapons and tools out of metal. He wasn't very friendly when we entered his shop, and he particularly seemed to hate [[Mayor Oseph Menhemes]]. We know he's not a great blacksmith. He stole [[Rosa Argentis]], the sword that really belongs to his family but which had been placed in [[Dawnflower Library]] by [[Mayor Oseph Menhemes]]. ## Recent Events ### Session 081 - Relocation to Arbor Felix - **MAJOR DEVELOPMENT**: Successfully convinced to relocate to [[Arbor Felix]] for safety - **Safety Agreement**: Agreed to move to Arbor Felix along with [[Dot Rajani|Dot]] to escape the dangers in [[Otari]] - **Party Success**: The party successfully persuaded both Carman and Dot to relocate ## Previous Events - Stole the sword from [[Dawnflower Library]] after hearing the party's conversation with the mayor - Used a napalm grenade to start a fire at the library as a distraction - The grenade was made of ingredients that could be found at a smith - Left his smithy in a hurry, leaving behind shoddy quality tools - Fled to a fishing spot on the outskirts of [[Otari]] where his family used to go - Was found there by the party, sword at his side - Proved to be very skilled at fighting during the encounter - Escaped by jumping into the water with a large splash - Found sleeping by an underground river after the party explored underwater tunnels from the lake - Revealed that he actually threw the real sword onto [[Dot Rajani|Dot]]'s roof, wanting her to have it - Believes the sword is his (or his family's) to keep or give away and didn't like when the mayor gave it to the party - Agreed to come with the party to [[Absalom]] as a sellsword, but only if they convince [[Dot Rajani|Dot]] to come with them - Believes the party doesn't want to capture him and that they really do just want to use the item to restore the Roseguard or help them move on - Appears desperate and has lost everything, with nothing left to lose ## Session 057 - Blessings from the Berry Bush - Was found in jail when the party tried to visit him at the pool - Had walked back into town and got himself arrested - [[Captain Lardus Longsaddle]] informed the party that Carman will be in jail for a few weeks - Appears depressed and in a low state - The party kept their word to try to get [[Dot Rajani|Dot]] to come with them, but she was unwilling ## Session 077 - Werewolf Attack Hero - **Heroic Actions**: Stood up for [[Otari]] in a big way during the recent werewolf attacks - **Protection**: Along with [[Calamity's Ruin]], helped prevent Otari's complete destruction - **Allies**: Worked alongside [[Wrin Sivinxi]], [[Vandy Banderdash]], and [[Worly Win]] to fend off the werewolves - **Urgency**: The party needs to find him quickly according to [[Wrin Sivinxi]]
