# [[Clam Hammarauc]]
A dwarven clan known as **The Mechanist Dwarves**. Most of the dwarven souls trapped in the ten gems in the tomb near [[Absalom]] belonged to this clan.
## Identity & Fate
- **The Mechanist Dwarves** — engineering-focused clan
- **Tricked by drow** into having their souls sucked into gems, where they were used to keep elementals (later [[The Coalition]]) captive
## Liberation (Session 065)
- Their souls were freed when the party destroyed the gems
- The grateful souls thanked the party and **showed them the faces of the drow co-conspirators**, including [[Volluk Azrinae]]
- The drow's involvement is now confirmed and remembered by the freed clan
## Disposition
- **Allies**: The party who freed them
- **Enemies**: [[Volluk Azrinae]] and the other drow who orchestrated the soul-trap
