# [[Fleshwarp]] Fleshwarps are creatures that have been mutated through fleshwarping experiments. In [[The Gauntlight]], they are products of [[Jafaki]]'s experiments on various subjects. ## Characteristics - **Type**: Aberration - **Origin**: Created through fleshwarping experiments - **Variants**: Can take many forms depending on the base creature and experimentation process ## Related Creatures The [[Mutalisks]] in The Gauntlight are crab-like fleshwarp creatures created by Jafaki. [[Vayle]] has previously identified them as "part aberration, specifically Fleshwarp." ## Session 107 - Dead Fleshwarps The party found two dead Fleshwarps outside a door in The Gauntlight: - They had been killed by the [[Mutalisks]] - They were corrupted by the [[Black Hollow Curse]], their skin turned black - Both had risen as undead after death: - One became an incorporeal undead (already destroyed by the Mutalisks) - One became a ghoul-like undead (also dealt with by the Mutalisks) ## Previous Encounters - Session 089: [[Vayle]] identified the [[Metallic Crabs|metallic crabs]] as part Fleshwarp - Session 099: Fresh mutalisk corpses found in the [[Irnakurse]]'s room, along with other fleshwarp remains
