Gibtas Bounders are Level 5 frog-like creatures found in the watery depths of [[The Gauntlight]].
## First Encounter ([[090_20250713 Mutalisks eaten by gibtas bounders eaten by hydras]])
The party first learned of Gibtas Bounders when they discovered an ongoing battle in the underwater areas of [[The Gauntlight]]. The bounders were engaged in combat with massive hydras—at least one with ten heads, suggesting multiple hydras were present. Being Level 5, the bounders would have been manageable for the party to fight, but they wisely avoided the conflict with the hydras (Level 6).

## Session 106 - Kobold Intel
[[Andy]] and [[Gran]], two [[Stonescale Kobolds|Stonescale Kobold]] kids who were rescued from the [[Soldier Construct|Black Knight]], mentioned they had found the Gibtas Bounders during their exploration of [[The Gauntlight]] while fleeing from [[Jafaki]].
