# [[Hound of Tindaloth]]
A Hound of Tindaloth is an exotic creature native to the dimension of time. [[Jaspen Bond Callistair|Bond]] recognized it when the soul-gem eye captured one prowling [[Volluk Azrinae|Volluk]]'s workshop in [[The Gauntlight]].
## Description
- Appears as a four-legged creature (though it is, in truth, the **two-headed, seven-legged dog** from [[Wrin Sivinxi|Wrin]]'s vision — it was simply *displaced* when the eye recorded it)
- Moves wrongly, "like it's not quite there" — almost teleporting from space to space rather than walking, leaving afterimages behind it
- On the eye's footage it flickered like a TV with bad reception
- Painful, **bloodless** wounds rip open in its body
## Nature & Behavior
Hounds of Tindaloth hunt anyone who tampers with the flow of time — moving forward or backward with their bodies, thoughts, or senses. They can pursue their quarry **across dimensions** to find those who have meddled with time.
## Connections
- **Wrin's vision**: [[Wrin Sivinxi]] saw a two-headed, seven-legged dog carrying a **black** [[The Fulcrum Lenses|Fulcrum Lens]] in its jaws, chasing her until she escaped into an open curved sky. The hound recorded by the eye is confirmed to be that same creature
- **Volluk's workshop**: The eye recorded it alone in [[Volluk Azrinae|Volluk]]'s workshop on [[Level 6]] of [[The Gauntlight]]
- **The Fulcrum Lenses**: Its association with the black lens may tie it to whatever Belcorra's installation was meant to focus
## Open Questions
- Why is a time-hunting hound drawn to [[The Gauntlight]]? Who tampered with time there?
- Is the hound hunting the party, [[Volluk Azrinae|Volluk]], or something else entirely?
- What is the significance of the black Fulcrum Lens it carries in [[Wrin Sivinxi|Wrin]]'s vision?
