Leader of the cult [[The Voidseekers]]. [[Vayle]] infiltrated the cult and is no longer on good terms with him — but Malik is still alive and wants to use Vayle and their powers for his own purposes.
## Identity & Role
- **Leader of [[The Voidseekers]]** — the death-obsessed cult that tries to recruit Otarians not to live, but to die in a strange way and "share" that with others
- **Signed the letter** found on a dead body in [[The Gauntlight]] — the link that first put him on the party's map
- **Authenticity in question**: [[Vayle]] is still trying to figure out whether Malik is *real* or not
## History with the Party
- **Session 067**: Vayle revealed the infiltration. Vayle successfully prevented The Voidseekers from summoning something / opening a portal in [[The Gauntlight]] — possibly at the cost of collateral damage to innocent cultists.
- Malik survived; the dynamic now is mutual interest — he wants to use Vayle and their powers, Vayle wants to know what he is.
