# [[Odasa]] *Gloam* Odasa, also known as *Gloam*, is a pale halfling cleric that [[Ashnefrotty|Ash]] somehow knows from before he met [[Zuhri]]. Gloam is obsessed with death and dying, as a cleric of [[Pharasma]]. He has a cloak and speaks in a high-pitched voice. His religious beliefs unfortunately put him at odds with the existence of undead, including [[Vayle]], who has triggered Gloam's shield. Apparently Gloam's shield alerts him to the presence of undead. ## Relationship with Church Hierarchy In [[095_20250831 The Paper Mummy]], [[Aiden Court]], a High Cleric of Pharasma (higher ranking than Gloam), referred to Gloam as their "wayward child" because Gloam hasn't been attending church regularly. This suggests Gloam has been neglecting his formal religious duties, possibly due to his adventures with [[Calamity's Ruin]] and his focus on The Gauntlight.
