# [[Onaru]] Onaru is a young boy of [[The Gallowhops]], the community of werewolves near [[Otari]]. Unlike the feral pack around him, he transforms into a **kindred-form** wolf that keeps its own mind — the same kind of controlled lycanthrope form [[Jaspen Bond Callistair|Bond]] can take. The party had seen him somewhere before, most likely among the Gallowhops, but only recognized him during the werewolf fight outside [[Maret]]'s hut. ## Recent Events ### Session 122 Onaru appeared as the small "kindred" wolf being chased and attacked by the feral pack outside Maret's collapsed hut. After taking six hits from the other wolves, he reverted to a small child dressed in field-worker's clothing. [[Zuhri]] cast Soothe on him, and the party recognized him as Onaru. He then fled into the forest, crying *"We found her! We found her!"* and pleading with the party not to hurt the other wolves because *"they don't mean to be hurting you."* His identity of the "her" they had found, and his connection to the pack, remain unexplained. ### Session 123 After the fight ended, Onaru transformed **back and forth between his forms easily**, having apparently gained real **control** over his kindred-wolf shape — a notable feat given he is **less than 10 years old**. The "her" the Gallowhops had been searching for was confirmed to be [[Zuhri]], the Blessed Wolf.
