[[Scree]] is a [[Zibub]] (Accuser Baby) that serves as a messenger for the [[Vordine]] devil resistance forces. It is used by [[Inqator]] and [[Zemna]] to communicate with their superiors, including [[General Urevian]].
## Physical Description
- Compound eyes instead of normal eyes
- Mandibles growing out of its mouth
- Small, buzzing creature that hovers in place
- Also known as a "Flybaby" or Accuser Baby
## Abilities

- Can teleport
- Can cast spells
- Primarily functions as a messenger
## Role in the Resistance
Scree serves as a communication link between the Vordine soldiers on the ground and their commanding officers. When the party was encountered, Inqator instructed Scree to "tell the General we have allies" and report the party's presence to their superiors.
## Communication
Scree responds with "Yes, Sir" when given orders and can quickly transport messages between different locations, making it an invaluable asset for the Vordine resistance network.
## Recent Activities (Session 099)
During [[099_20251026 The Dwarven Irnakurse]], Scree appeared during the combat encounter with the [[Irnakurse]]. The small messenger was spotted by [[Jaspen Bond Callistair|Bond]] during the battle, with its compound eyes staring at him for a second before disappearing. This suggests Scree is actively monitoring the party's progress and reporting back to the Vordine commanders.
## The Spy in the Room (Session 129)
Scree is the **winged invisible spy** [[Echbos]] sent in [[128_20260906 Good Graces Spent]]. Nicole's session 128 notes recorded only that Echbos ordered "our winged invisible spy" to report the party's betrayal; the name came out at the start of [[129_20260912 Leave This One to Me]]. Echbos called Scree to report what had happened, and the party **felt Scree move**.
This retroactively reframes several encounters. Scree has been present and invisible at the party's fights since at least Session 099, when Bond caught its compound eyes on him for a second before it vanished. Whatever [[General Urevian]] learns about the party siding with [[Calamity's Ruin]] against his drill instructor, he learns from a creature the party had already met, spoken to, and forgotten about.
