# [[Sevara]]

Sevara was a prominent member of [[The Gallowhops]], the community of werewolves near [[Otari]] — she was regarded as something like their leader. She was among the roughly twenty infected who set out in search of the Blessed Wolf ([[Zuhri]]), hoping her curative bite could free them of moon-madness.
## Death (Session 124)
Sevara never received that cure. Transformed and mindless under the full moon, she was one of the wolves that attacked during [[Maret]]'s rebirth outside her collapsed hut, and she was killed in the fighting by [[Grumblebum|Grumble]]. When the surviving pack members reverted and learned who had fallen, the ex-werewolves grieved her deeply ([[124_20260719 Paper Insects]]).
Her death cast a shadow over the pack's otherwise joyful ending: [[Hralin]] asked Zuhri to bite and free all of the survivors, which she agreed to do — a mercy that came too late for Sevara.
