After the [[Death Shepherd]] respawned at the bottom of the pit, it engaged in battle with one of the Gibbering Mouthers, creating an opportunity for the party to plan their next move. The Death Shepherd's battle with the Gibbering Mouther provided a distraction that the party could potentially use to their advantage.
