# [[The Huntress]]
A phantom spirit encountered in [[Esefna Menhemes|Esefna]]'s tomb. She appears as a spirit, not undead, similar to [[Ashnefrotty|Ash]].
## Nature
- **Phantom**: A spirit with unfinished business that can't move forward
- **Two Destinies**: If phantoms can't find their way back to the river of life, they either:
- Go insane
- Become undead, corrupted by their stay, hating all life
- **Stabilized**: [[Ashnefrotty|Ash]] is stabilized by life force, but will eventually need to find his way
## Current State
- **Hexed**: [[Vayle]] determined that she appears to be hexed
- **Trapped**: If she dies, she'll never go to the afterlife
- **Committed**: Despite [[Ashnefrotty|Ash]]'s attempts to reason with her, her face hardens and she remains committed to her course
- **Locked in Time**: She's doing something that she was doing before she died - the hardest thing she's ever done
## Connection to Esefna
The Huntress is connected to [[Esefna Menhemes|Esefna]]'s tomb and appears to be related to her guilt and unfinished business.
