# [[The Rowdy Rockfish]] Despite its name, the Rowdy Rockfish caters to [[Otari]]'s more well-off clientele and is owned by [[Lazda Venkervale]], who was lured away and tortured in [[The Gauntlight]]. We returned him, but since he's still recovering from mental trauma, his mother, [[Brelda Venkervale]], is managing his inn. ## Paper Spiders (Session 124) [[Jaspen Bond Callistair|Bond]] and [[Grumblebum|Grumble]] spotted an **insect made of paper** here — paper torn from an ancient tome, part of a ritual that transforms someone into a **mummy**, and the same material tied to [[Chafkem]] like a familiar ([[095_20250831 The Paper Mummy]]). Grumble downed it with a dagger and it sprinkled a dust-like substance. A **second paper spider** later appeared in the room where [[Vayle]] was counselling [[Lazda Venkervale|Lazda]] — someone or something seems to be watching the inn. ## Special perks Because of our previous history with Brelda, she will let [[Quen]] work here and train more efficiently here than others. We can also stay here and get a discount on what they're selling here. ## Services - Stay for a night: 1 sp per person ## Session 133 - Healing Up and Splitting Loot Back from The Gauntlight at 1 PM, limping and bloodied, the party took a room so Vayle could heal everyone with focus points and short rests. A commotion in the common room turned out to be the three remaining members of [[Calamity's Ruin]], who had laid the loot from the last fight across several tables, including the monster parts the party had left behind ([[133_20261018 Healer Heal Thyself]]). ## NPCs in The Rowdy Rockfish ```dataview table description as "Description" from "ttrpgs/The Undead Unkillers" WHERE contains(type,"PC") or contains(type,"faction") and contains(location,"Rowdy Rockfish") SORT file.name ASC ```
