# Specter A hateful undead creature (level 7) that seeks to kill living things because it has suffered so much pain and wants revenge. All it knows is vengeance and pain. The party encountered a specter inside a three-week-old [[morlock]] corpse in an experimentation room on Level 5. This specter was the corrupted soul of the old morlock, but had been corrupted and could not be reasoned with. It was seeking vengeance for the pain it had suffered during experimentation. The specter was found inside the morlock corpse that had been surgically modified in an attempt to transform it into a [[dreshkan]]. Despite being a vengeful undead, it was not lashing out at the party when discovered, which puzzled [[Ashnefrotty|Ash]].
